CropLedger Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-20

CropLedger is operated by AppCreators LIMITED (we, us, or our). This policy explains how CropLedger handles information when you use the CropLedger mobile app.

CropLedger is designed as a local-first pesticide and fertilizer record-keeping aid. It is not a legal, safety, label, dosage, product, crop, pest, rate, or jurisdiction-specific advice service.

Information You Enter In The App

CropLedger lets you enter and save field and application records on your device. This may include:

  • Field or site names, crop/site descriptions, area values, and location descriptions you type.
  • Customer or grower names and optional contact details.
  • Operator or applicator names, certification numbers, license details, and jurisdiction text.
  • Product names, EPA registration numbers, active ingredient or nutrient analysis text, rates, amounts, carrier volume, and related units.
  • Equipment details, application dates and times, weather text, notes, saved mixes/templates, export history, and app settings.

This information is stored locally on your device. We do not receive, host, sync, or remotely access your field records, setup data, saved mixes, exports, or notes through the app.

Exports And Sharing

CropLedger can generate PDF and CSV exports from records you select, and an all-data CSV export for local data portability. When you choose to share or save an export, your device and the destination app or service you choose control what happens to that file.

For example, if you share a CSV or PDF through Mail, Messages, cloud storage, AirDrop, or another app, that destination may process the exported file under its own terms and privacy policy. Review exported records before sharing them.

Purchases And Subscriptions

CropLedger uses Apple in-app purchase and RevenueCat to provide subscription features such as CropLedger Pro, purchase restoration, entitlement status, and customer support for purchases.

Apple processes App Store payments. We do not receive your full payment card details.

RevenueCat may process purchase and subscription information, Apple receipt information, product identifiers, entitlement status, transaction status, an anonymous app-specific customer identifier, app/device technical information needed to provide the subscription service, and related service information. RevenueCat uses this information to validate purchases, provide subscription access, restore purchases, prevent fraud, support customer purchase history, and provide purchase dashboard/analytics features for the app operator.

RevenueCat may process this purchase-related information in the United States or other locations where its service providers operate. RevenueCat’s privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/.

CropLedger does not send your farm, field, customer, operator, product, application record, saved mix, export, or note contents to RevenueCat as subscriber attributes.

CropLedger does not intentionally send advertising identifiers to RevenueCat. Purchase-related information may still be needed to provide, restore, and manage your subscription.

Support Requests

If you contact support, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, support message, screenshots, exported files, device details, app version, or purchase information relevant to the request.

Do not send pesticide, fertilizer, customer, operator, license, or field records in a support request unless you want us to review that information for support purposes.

Diagnostics, Error Reporting, And Tracking

CropLedger uses Sentry to help detect crashes, diagnose errors, monitor app stability, and collect optional in-app feedback that you choose to submit from Settings. CropLedger does not use Sentry for product analytics events, advertising, or tracking.

Sentry may receive technical diagnostic information such as crash reports, error details, stack traces, app version, operating system version, device model or device class, a Sentry-generated app/device installation identifier used for diagnostics, device state, memory state, coarse geography inferred by Sentry, performance information, network request URLs related to app services, timestamps, and similar information needed to diagnose app problems. CropLedger configures Sentry with default personally identifiable information collection disabled and uses Sentry data-scrubbing settings to remove Sentry-generated user identifiers from stored diagnostic events.

Diagnostic events may include technical breadcrumbs, such as app lifecycle or navigation state, to help diagnose what happened. CropLedger filters touch breadcrumbs that can include tapped screen or button text. CropLedger does not intentionally send your farm, field, customer, operator, product, application record, saved mix, export, or note contents to Sentry as diagnostic context. Sentry session replay, screenshot capture, profiling, broad logs, and advertising tracking are not enabled for CropLedger.

If you use Send Feedback in Settings, Sentry receives the feedback message and any name or email address you choose to enter in the feedback form. Do not include pesticide, fertilizer, customer, operator, license, field, product, rate, quantity, location, export, or other sensitive record details in feedback unless you want AppCreators LIMITED and Sentry to process that information for support and troubleshooting.

Sentry may process diagnostic and feedback information in the United States or other locations where Sentry and its service providers operate. Sentry’s privacy policy is available at https://sentry.io/privacy/.

RevenueCat provides purchase and subscription dashboard analytics based on purchase-related information. CropLedger does not use RevenueCat to analyze your field records, setup data, products, operators, customers, saved mixes, exports, notes, or location descriptions.

CropLedger does not use advertising identifiers, does not show third-party ads, and does not track you across apps or websites for advertising or advertising measurement.

  • User Content: customer support messages you submit.
  • Purchases: purchase history for subscription entitlement checks and RevenueCat purchase dashboard analytics.

Device Permissions

CropLedger does not currently require account login, camera access, contacts access, microphone access, photo library access, or location permission.

Where privacy laws such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR apply, we rely on these legal bases:

  • To provide the app, local record storage, exports, subscription access, restore purchases, and purchase support: performance of a contract.
  • To diagnose crashes, maintain app security and reliability, respond to support requests, prevent abuse or fraud, and understand purchase/subscription status: our legitimate interests in operating, supporting, and improving CropLedger.
  • To keep records required for tax, accounting, legal, or regulatory purposes: compliance with legal obligations.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, objection to, or portability of personal information we hold about you. Most CropLedger record data is stored only on your device, so we cannot access or delete that local data for you. You can export or delete local app data from within CropLedger. For personal information we do hold, such as support messages or purchase-support records, contact info@appcreators.co.uk.

If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/. If you are in Ireland or the EEA, you may contact your local data protection authority.

RevenueCat, Sentry, Apple, and support/service providers may process personal information in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or other countries where they or their service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, data processing terms, or the provider’s published transfer mechanisms.

Data Retention And Deletion

Records and setup data remain on your device until you edit them, delete them, delete all local data in Settings, uninstall the app, or your device removes the app data.

Deleting local data from CropLedger removes local records and setup data from the app on that device. It does not cancel an App Store subscription. Subscriptions must be managed through your App Store account.

Support emails or messages are retained as needed to answer and manage support requests, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations.

Children

CropLedger is intended for professional and farm record-keeping workflows. It is not directed to children.

International Users

CropLedger may be used in different locations, but it is not a jurisdiction-specific compliance service. You are responsible for deciding whether CropLedger fits your record-keeping needs and legal obligations.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this privacy policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will show a new Last updated date.
